Description
This is the guitar transcription of the song “Le Vieux Tsigane” played by Angelo Debarre in the live named “Manoir de mes Rêves” in 2010.
This song (“A vén cigány” – The Old Gypsy) is not a traditional. It was written by the hungarian composer Ernö Kondor (1881 – 1951) and first recorded on Columbia records in 1914. It became popular when it was used as film music in the 1931 movie “The Gypsy Caravan”, dircted by Roy Mack.
