Jojo Swing is a gypsy jazz tune composed and performed by Patrick Saussois, featured on the album Alma Sinti.

Written in the spirit of classic minor swing tunes such as Minor Swing or Noto Swing, the piece is built on a straightforward minor harmony and a strong rhythmic drive typical of the gypsy jazz tradition.

Because of its relatively simple chord progression, it’s also a great tune for beginners to practice improvisation while staying within the classic gypsy jazz vocabulary.

Patrick is a left-handed player who plays a right-handed guitar upside down, so his phrasing and his fingering is very personal.
