This is the transcription of the Paul Yandell’s version of the Chet Atkins’s composition “Good-Bye Blues”. Paul played it in live in the CAAS 2009 edition. Don’t be too hard on him, he had 74 years in 2009, he died two years later. He is one of the best fingerstyle player of his generation and he played along with Chet Atkins a large part of his career.
I like this simple finger picking piece, it’s easy and there is a lot of classic fingerstyle tricks and licks. Very good for beginner and intermediate finger picking players.
