This is the guitar transcription of this famous gypsy jazz standard “J’attendrai” played by Samy Daussat for the french guitar method “Coup de Pouce Swing Manouche”. The transcription is not available in the book, this version come from an extra audio CD included with the method. If like the version of the tune and you want to learn gypsy jazz please buy this nice book on their website.
Samy plays a nice version of the theme, when David Gastine sings the theme, I decided to transcribe what Samy is playing in the meantime, nice to learn how to enriching the accompaniment. Then you have very nice solo by Samy.
