This is the guitar transcription of this waltz from Venezuela composed by the mandolist Douglas Velasquez. It’s a Joropo Sucrense, a style of waltz from the oriental region of Venezuela.
The song is played by Doulgas on a mandolin by i put the fingering for guitar (because it’s a guitar library 😉 it’s very nice to play it on guitar!

Douglas Velasquez was born in April 16, 1968 in Yaracuy (Venezuela), he begins the way of the music learning the mandolin of the hand of his grandfather at 10 years.
From very early age he begins to be part of the folkloric movement of the Venezuelan eastern region.
He made of the popular music his means of economic income, he participated in innumerable discographic productions, music for groups of dances and theater. He is currently redeemed in Portugal and is part of the staff of musicians of the “Grupo Folclórico de Faro” in the Algarve region.
